You can create communities based on areas of mutual interest.
Communities can be short-term – to solve specific problems or answer specific questions - or they can be longer-term, to address an ongoing issue. You can take the initiative and start an e-group, or join one already in existence.
If you’re on a committee or a board, you will have access to documents exclusive to that group.
Access is controlled by a central master list, so you don’t need to worry about your confidential documents going public.
The central housing and maintenance of committee documents should minimize the need for endless e-mails with attachments, as well as ensuring only the most current versions of documents are in circulation.
While all members have access to a wide range of CIOCAN publications, only committee members and boards will have access to their working documents, meeting minutes and agenda as a matter of course. If you would like to see a document that you are currently ineligible to access, please contact the committee chairperson.
You’ll have access to an extensive library of CIOCAN member documents and publications for reference.
The library is still under construction so check back often to see new additions.
