CIO Association of Canada in the News

The Vancouver Chapter of CIOCAN will host the kick-off event of the ‘BC Aware’ campaign on Monday, January 25.  Currently there are more than 100 people registered for the event that will be held at the new Telus Garden. The The BC AWARE Campaign, led by ISACA, and sponsored by Cisco and Telus, aims to unify the various information technology, IT security, privacy, governance, and risk assurance organizations in British Columbia by creating a major privacy and security awareness initiative that each participating organization can embrace as its own.  News of the campaign event has been picked up by by news services across North America and beyond.

Registration for the panel discussion Cybersecurity: Who’s Job Is It Anyway? is available to CIO Association members and guests invited through the BC Aware Campaign.
