BC Technology Industry Association Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)

The Vancouver Chapter of the CIO Association of Canada (CIOVAN) and the BC Technology Industry Association (BCTIA) have completed a memorandum of understanding covering a variety of areas of mutual interest.

The MOU provides a framework for closer cooperation between CIOVAN and BCTIA in the following areas:

• - Cross-marketing of events and programs
• - Sponsorship of programs and events
• - Advocacy on issues of public policy that affect the technology industry
• - Developing a set of goals and an action plan to enhance the growth of the information technology sector in BC
• - Developing and undertaking efforts to address labor shortage issues in the BC information technology sector

As the voice of BC's technology industry, BCTIA is committed to the ongoing growth, sustainability and prosperity of BC's economy and the technology industry that serves it.   The Association delivers opportunities for members to connect, learn and grow their businesses in BC.
