Driven to build a world free from cancer
This is the most exciting time in the history of cancer research and care. We are on the cusp of true transformation. Cancer is the world’s biggest health crisis, and the BC Cancer Foundation (BCCF) is positioned to drive health care transformation to elevate cancer care for all British Columbians and beyond. Working toward a three-pillar strategy to accelerate cancer solutions, modernize fundraising approaches and invest in business transformation, the BCCF is on a path to being the leading catalyst of transformative and wide-impact solutions for the most significant cancer challenges, to fuel optimism and save lives.
In order to meet BCCF’s strategic priority of investing in business transformation, the Foundation needs a highly strategic, relational and future-ready Vice President of Business Intelligence & Technology (VP, BIT). Reporting to the President and CEO and as a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), they will establish best-in-class technology and data governance across the organization and will be responsible for defining and executing the Foundation’s business intelligence and IT strategy.
This senior leadership role will shape the Foundation’s digital future and empower a data-driven culture across the organization. As the ideal candidate, you:
– Thrive in mission-driven environments where work contributes to real impact.
– Have a passion for data-informed transformation and inspire innovation.
– Bring a mix of business acumen, technical expertise, and change/people leadership.
– Believe technology is the enabler and not the driver.
– Are resilient, adaptable, and thrive amid ambiguity and in fast-paced settings.
