Session description

The four-corners session is comprised of 4 – 20 minute long speed-dating style information exchanges.  You will be assigned to a group which will sequentially visit each “corner”.

Transforming from Protector to Enabler of Enterprise Information

As a modern technology leader, you straddle two critical roles. The first is as guardian of your organization’s information, making sure that it is properly secured and managed. The other is as a steward and enabler of operational efficiency, productivity, and innovation. Yet the job of playing both protector and enabler of information is becoming increasingly difficult in today’s business and technology environments. An estimated 90 percent of information is unstructured and the volume of this unstructured data is increasing at an exponential rate across a growing number of official and unofficial places in your organization—to the point that human management is likely already impossible.

This roundtable discussion explores how to apply modern technology to address the chaos of unstructured data and information management across a hybrid of on-premise and cloud data repositories, so that it can be proactively managed and leveraged as the valuable business asset that it is.

In this session, Shinydocs CEO Jason Cassidy will facilitate a discussion on the future of managing enterprise knowledge. Leveraging decades of experience in information management and software development, Jason will lay out the vision for swiftly moving from reactive data storage to proactive information management – and beyond.
