We are honoured to introduce the Fawn Annan Memorial Award as part of the 2026 CanadianCIO of the Year Awards. This award will be given annually to a female IT Leader, recognizing outstanding achievements, significant impacts, and industry contributions. There are three parts to the nomination process. Please note incomplete nominations will not move forward in the judging process.

1. The nominator must provide two letters of recommendation attesting to the nominees’ accomplishments. The letters are integral to the judges’ decision-making process and preferably a least one of the two letters comes from within the nominee’s own organization as opposed to a vendor of the organization.
2. The nominator must complete the form below with the information that details the nominee’s accomplishments and the context in which they were achieved.
3. The Fawn Annan Memorial Award will be presented at the CanadianCIO Awards celebration in Toronto, Ontario, on Thursday, October 1, 2026. Award finalists are required to attend the event in person to participate in the award process!
