Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion

The CIO Association of Canada (CIOCAN) is committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of the Association’s culture, operations, and activities. This includes, but is not limited to access to membership, leadership opportunities and committee participation, awards and recognitions, opportunities for knowledge sharing through all forums, employment, and volunteer positions.

CIOCAN welcomes and embraces applications and participation of all individuals independent of sex, race, religion, Indigenous identity, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender expression, other identities, and the intersectionality of these identities. Our commitment means our Association will actively work to understand and remove barriers to equity and inclusion, be they systematic, physical, or otherwise. In addition, we are committed to ongoing learning and development in the areas of equity, diversity, and inclusion so that we can apply an “equity lens” in all areas of our business.
