Susan Van Klink | Chief Revenue Officer | Checkster

Susan Van Klink is seasoned software executive with 20 years of experience in executive management, sales, services, pre-sales, product strategy and client management roles, mostly in the Human Resources cloud software space.

Ms Van Klink is currently the Chief Revenue Officer of Checkster, a Bay Area HR software company, where her mission is to help grow the sales and marketing functions, bringing new messaging to market as well as growing revenues through new customer acquisition and add-on revenue within the existing customer base. 

Prior to joining Checkster, Sue was the General Manager of SuccessFinder where she ran the company and worked with the team to grow revenues by almost 300% during an 18 month period. During her time with the company, she added many new enterprise logos across multiple industries including McKesson Corporation, Industrial Alliance, TD Bank, Aldo, Yamana Gold and Rexall. Before SuccessFinder, Susan held executive roles at multiple leading software companies including SuccessFactors, where she ran product sales and strategy globally, growing the emerging products portfolio of SuccessFactors’ Business Execution Software suite from less than $10M annually to more than $150M in recurring revenue across 4 product lines in less than four years, SelectMinds, a cutting edge software company, where she was the executive responsible for growing and managing the company’s sales force and strategic services group, and Taleo Corporation, where during her seven years with the company, she held leadership positions in client management, consulting, pre-sales and new business sales. Prior to becoming a software executive, Sue held a variety of sales and consulting management roles with leading Canadian companies.

Van Klink is an industry veteran, with experience in technology leadership combined with a focus on human capital management solutions. She holds a degree in Arts, Speech and Communication from the University of Waterloo, Canada. An active speaker and spokesperson globally, she regularly presents to Senior Executives and at Conferences.
