Welcome to the 2024 CIO Peer Forum. With a dynamic program planned we are well on our way to a successful conference. As a committee we developed this year’s theme:
Adaptive Leadership at the Edge of the Future – IT leaders, CIOs, and CISOs understand that change is a constant, but this is unprecedented: AI is challenging the very foundation of society, work and corporate strategy while the technology narrative is increasingly being shaped by voices that span the enterprise. Never before has technology strategy been defined by so many opinions from so many directions. IT leaders must ensure they are a credible voice in shaping the future of their enterprise. The theme for the 2024 CIO Association Peer Forum is, “Inflection Point: Adaptive Leadership at the Edge of the Future.” This year we will delve into the ethics, governance and practical success stories of AI while equipping IT leaders to create a culture of resilient adaptability and connect to the hearts and minds of stakeholders through storytelling and value mapping.

Gaetano Mazzuca
Gaetano is CIO for the City of Red Deer and a senior IT leader with 20+ years of experience leading technology and business teams in multiple organizations, including government and education public sectors.
Daniel Saroff
Daniel Saroff is Group Vice President of Consulting and Research at IDC, where he is a senior practitioner in the end-user consulting practice. Mr. Saroff has over twenty years of experience in senior-level positions in both consulting organizations and delivering technology.
