TechToronto.org and Venture Out partner to launch PrideTechTO
June 6, 2018 – TechToronto.org and Venture Out are partnering to improve the inclusivity and representation of the LGBTQ+ community in the Toronto technology ecosystem. This partnership will kick-off at the June 11 2018 TechTO event at RBC Waterpark (88 Queens Quay).
Venture Out and TechToronto will work together to ensure more LGBTQ+ founders and tech leaders are represented on stage across all the organization’s technology events, including TechTO, FintechTO, SalesTO, HealthTO, MarketingTO, TravelTechTO, TechVancouver, and TechWaterloo. Both organizations are committed to making the technology community more inclusive.
“Inclusion and diversity is a strong value and mandate of the TechToronto community and is a cornerstone of the Canadian agenda,” says Alex Norman, co-founder of TechToronto. “Venture Out is the ideal partner for TechToronto and we look forward to working with them to ensure the LGBTQ+ technology founders are celebrated on the center stage of the technology ecosystem.”
