The CIO Association of Canada (CIOCAN), the only national professional organization for information technology leaders, announces the appointment of a new Executive Director. This comes after transformative membership growth for the organization which has grown to seven chapters across Canada to over 450 members, and the successful launch of the CISO Division. The organization continues to provide members the opportunity to learn about new business solutions from industry experts, attend online and in-person events, career advancement and skills training, and the opportunity for members to share and mentor next generation leaders.
Philippe Johnston, President of the National Board is delighted to introduce Lee Rennick, MBA as the newly appointed Executive Director of CIOCAN.

Lee brings leadership and business growth experience from her background working in the technology, consulting and education sectors. She will be working alongside the Board of Directors and our members to build the CIO profession within Canada. We welcome Lee in her new role.”

Lee is a senior leader with extensive experience in management, strategy, financial planning, sponsorship, communications, digital transformation, marketing, and communications. She is joining The CIO Association of Canada from Six Trends a global digital agency where she was the Global Marketing Officer. Lee has worked with a variety of clients in her leadership role at Six Trends helping them to grow through digital transformation. Lee is looking forward to using her skills to grow The CIO Association of Canada’s profile in Canada and abroad through membership and partnership growth. Lee has also held senior roles at Proudfoot Consulting, Gilda’s Club, Pathways to Education, and OCAD University.
